What do the Genres mean?
Genres are rough, broad categories with more specific sub-categories. GURPS has over 250 sourcebooks, plus whatever stuff hundreds of thousands of GURPS players could imagine, so it would be nearly impossible to categorize all characters accurately, but we do our best.

Note: When searching, or creating, use any and all genres that could possibly apply. This will make the desired result easier to find. Don't forget to apply a character to a sub-genre as well as the general genre if appropriate.

For instance, a warrior with an axe and shield might fit into two general genres - Fantasy or Historical - and 5 different sub-genres - for a total of SEVEN genres!
