Lt. Harrigan has been on the Houston police force for a long time. Susanna has managed to claw her way up a traditionally male profession. Many don't take to her leadership style at first. The Lt. simply puts it like this, "if you don't like it quit. You're not paid to like it." Smart and gutsy she has never backed down from a case, soon after making detective she was assigned to vice. In the squad, she has seen the ugly side of humanity up close. Nancy moved into homicide and cracked several major cases. Eventually she was promoted and has taken over the major case squad.
